Print #2 this time with the correct amount of clay in the cylinder. One air bubble caused a gap extrusion, noticeable by the left side of the door opening. Again a 2-shell dome. A single shell would collapse. I consider myself satisfied and ready for the next step.

Trying a design and clay extrusion to see what happens... It started out pretty good but deteriorated about halfway through. Windows and door openings are challenging, and once you lose a nice level layer, things go sideways fast - each new layer depends on the ability to "squish" the next down on it. Without the squish the print is over, especially for a dome shape.

I'm REALLY excited to share some news...
We have put a payment on the big printer! It's coming!!! This printer has up to a 9' diameter print zone, can be extended to a 9' printing height, and also has a continuous feed option!
IT IS HAPPENING! We are getting a construction printer!
To help pay the last 10k we are releasing PRE-SALES for printed items (your choice... planters, benches, tables, raised garden beds, dog houses, chicken coops, bricks, panels, something unique... etc.) or workshops.
The printer will be here in as little as a few weeks, depending on the last push of funding!
This is the link to the fundraiser page with more information!
