Golden Botanical

Golden Botanical was created during a time in my life when I was dealing with a lot internally. Even when everything looked fine on the outside, there were days I felt low, anxious, and mentally drained. It can feel like your entire nervous system is attacking you, leaving you with zero faith or trust in who you are as a person. You feel isolated and try to push through each day without talking about it, just doing your best, only to go to sleep, wake up, and repeat the same pattern.

I know firsthand how emotionally draining this cycle is, and I wanted to create something that could make a difference. That's why a percentage of every dollar earned from Golden Botanical goes toward mental health funding across Canada through a charitable fund I've set up with the Edmonton Community Foundation.

My aim is to help create a space where we can talk more freely about mental health while also providing resources that support real change. These funds help community-based mental health organizations by contributing to counselling access, mental health programs, crisis support, and early intervention services for people who may not otherwise have access to care. Even at a local level, this kind of funding can reduce barriers, support healing, and remind people that they are not alone.

I believe that supporting each other builds stronger communities, and I hope our collective efforts can make a real difference. My goal is to raise at least $10,000 for mental health over the next ten years to help make that impact possible.

Golden Botanical is my small, independently owned skincare business and something I’ve been dreaming up for a long time. It grew from my love of plants, skincare, and creating space to slow down and take better care of ourselves. I’ve developed four thoughtfully made skincare products designed to fit easily into everyday routines. Each one is vegan, cruelty free, Health Canada certified, clinically tested, and made with botanical based ingredients.

As a small business, every purchase truly means a lot. A portion of each sale will go toward supporting mental health initiatives across Canada, a cause that is very close to my heart.
