Body checking is an important skill for hockey players to thrive both defensively and offensively! This summer at the River Cree, we’re offering a focused hockey program for U15 players, with 20 minutes daily dedicated to teaching how to safely give and receive checks using A.C.E. (Angle / Contain / Eliminate). We’ll also cover how to prepare for contact and avoid injury — key skills to develop before the 2025–26 season!
