Ayaan
The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah (May 18-27, 2026) mark important days of worship for Muslims around the world. Below are some good deeds we should try to do.
1. FASTING
One of the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah." [Sunan Abi Dawud 2437]
Not only would we be fulfilling the sunnah by fasting, but we would also be rewarded immensely by Allah SWT for doing this for Him.
2. ADHKAR (REMEMBRANCES OF ALLAH)
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) told us to recite a great deal of Tahlil (La Ilaha Illallah: There is no God worthy of worship except for Allah), Takbir (Allahu Akbar: God is the greatest) and Tahmid (Alhamdulilllah: Allah praise belongs to Allah) during the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. [Musnad Imam Ahmad]
3. READING QURAN, GIVING CHARITY, ETC.
As any good deeds are the most beloved to Allah SWT in these 10 days, we should try to do good deeds constantly, such as reading more Quran or giving charity to those in need.
