✨ This week I had the honour of presenting:

Own The Room - Communication Skills That Get You Heard in partnership with Canadian Construction Women followed by a fireside chat with Natasha from .
At .

It was an evening filled with connection, conversation, and real talk about what it means to own the room.

The goal for me as a leader and coach is to encourage everyone to speak up and use your voice.

Remember - You don’t need to be perfect to be powerful ✨

Because confidence isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room, it’s about showing up, speaking up, and trusting that your voice has value.

A few reminders we shared that night:
• Speak up, even if it’s not perfect
• Lead with your main idea and keep it clear
• Confidence comes from practice, not perfection
• Say it once, say it well
• Your voice deserves space

Grateful to every person in that room who showed up fully. This is how we shift rooms and industries. 💛

Big thank you to our sponsors Kindred Construction and Career Contacts for supporting a space where we can grow, lead, and be heard.

Such an incredible day at the 2025 Dress For Success Luncheon.

What an honour to co-mc this afternoon alongside who I actually met at this event a few years back. ❤️

Congratulations to the team for the incredible work you do and on how much was raised today!! Over $531,000!

And thank you to Iyeba Maclayton on sharing your story! You are such an inspiration!

Always nice to see familiar faces in the room as well!!

Still feeling inspired after the Better Not Bitter Summit 💛

Honoured to have been nominated as a DEI Champion finalist among so many incredible changemakers.

Congratulations to all the winners 🏆

Deep gratitude to Mariat Jibril for creating such a powerful space, one that celebrated community, vulnerability, and the importance of talking openly about mental health.

Let’s keep doing the work to make every space more honest, inclusive, and human, and to always strive to be better, not bitter. ✨
