Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for 24-year-old Amarbir Singh, who is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Navdeep Kaur.

Kaur, 28, disappeared in early 2024, and her remains were later found in the Fraser River in July 2024. Investigators say the two were in a relationship at the time of her disappearance.

According to IHIT, Singh is believed to have fled to India in late 2024 after being interviewed by investigators. Authorities say bringing him back to Canada could take time, as the extradition process is often lengthy.
