Creston Valley Fire Service

On June 16, 2026 at 8:51pm CVFS was dispatched to the 500 block of 16th Ave S for a wildland fire. Arriving crews found a 15'x50' rank 1 grass/brush fire adjacent to the rail tracks. Firefighters contacted CPKC to halt rail traffic and extinguished the fire. The fire was determined to have been caused by an unattended campfire.

On June 15, 2026 at 4:04pm CVFS was dispatched for medical aid. Firefighters assisted BCEHS Paramedics with patient care and transport to the ambulance.

On June 14, 2026 at 10:28pm CVFS was dispatched to the area of Hwy 3 and Hood Rd for a motor vehicle incident. Arriving crews found a single vehicle collision with an elk. Firefighters extricated one occupant from the vehicle, two patients were transported to hospital. Thanks to RCMP, BCEHS, and Creston Towing for their assistance on the incident.

On June 13, 2026 at 12:27pm CVFS was dispatched for medical aid. Firefighters assisted BCEHS Paramedics with patient care and transport to the ambulance.
