📣 Open Door Language & Culture Society is building belonging through language, culture, and community.

Created in response to gaps in language supports for newcomers, Open Door now offers classes, tutoring, heritage language clubs, and cultural events that help residents build confidence, connection, and a sense of home in the Comox Valley.

Since launching, the organization has supported newcomers from 15 countries — helping transform words into belonging.

💜 Open Door Language & Culture Society was one of 45 local organizations to receive funding through over $1 million in grants this year — made possible by the many individuals, families and businesses who give through the Comox Valley Community Foundation.
