This week is about slowing down and understanding your waste habits. This will help you plan out your swaps!

Remember that you do not need to throw anything away to start swapping; reuse as much as you can first. You can begin swapping the easy things first: water bottles, cutlery, meal containers. Try to remember to bring them with you by packing ahead, whether in your bag or vehicle.

Sometimes slowing down and planning ahead is the most radical thing you can do to challenge the plastic culture we live in!

Today kicks off our first weekly challenge for Plastic-Free July!
🍳The theme for the week is Cooking and Meal Prep.
🐝The prize basket includes: a wooden cutting board, a silicone baking sheet, a reusable Ziploc bag, stainless steel meal containers, beeswax covers, and much more!

To join the challenge and enter to win this week's prize, comment a picture of you using your reusable items matching the Cooking and Meal Prep theme: reusable Ziploc bags, meal containers, reusable water bottles, etc.
