Available now:
Upcycled kid's denim vest with patches cut from a thrifted duvet cover and flowers painted on with screenprint ink.
This vest started as a jean jacket that I thrifted and cut the sleeves off of; it's a Joe Fresh branded kid's medium (7/8).
After I finished this vest, it went through the wash to make sure the screenprint ink wouldn't fade.
Care instructions: wash inside out in cold water, hang to dry for best results. I recommend not using the dryer in order to best preserve the painted flowers.
Price: $36 (Canadian)
Local pickup in Coquitlam, worldwide shipping available.

Vest laying flat measures 16.75" from armpit to armpit (for a total of 33.5" around).
The back measures 16.5" from base of collar to hem.

I finally set up automatic replies for both this page and Tanya's Tasteless Teacups because I really do have great intentions for responding back but... 💀🖤

As a sewist, I'm very aware of how many textiles end up in the landfill each year, both from worn clothes and fabric scraps. As such, I have kept all my fabric scraps the last few years and needed a way to reuse them... So I made this floor pouf. It's stuffed with clothes too worn to donate, about half the fabric scraps I had in my studio, and topped with a thin layer of polyfill for a little cushion. I'm in love.

Would you be interested in this, if I sold them empty for you to fill with your old textiles?
