Wondering which pen actually works with your Note Air5 C, Note Max, Tab X C, Go Color 7 Gen II, or older models like Note Air 4 C / Go 10.3? It's EMR (battery-free, no charging needed) vs Active (requires charging) — and they don't mix!

EMR pens (top choice for note-taking): New BOOX Pen3 (ships with Note Air5 C — anti-roll design, spare nibs in cap, paper-like feel), Pen2 Pro (top eraser), Pen Plus (ergonomic fave), or our budget third-party EMR Stylus with Eraser (tail flip-to-erase, magnetic attach, 4096 pressure, 5 spare nibs included)
Active pens: InkSpire (wireless charging + haptic for Tab X C only) or InkSense Plus (for Go 7 / Palma series)
