The first step in woodworking is getting your a material. You can buy it at a store, or you can go to the source, and select the best material for your needs. These maples were old, time and disease had taken their toll. But this isn’t the end of their story. The wood will be air dried, then milled, kiln dried, and turned into tables, benches and and counter tops, giving these trees a new purpose that will live on for years to come.
