We're so happy to announce the Travis Gillespie Hockey Scholarship will be awarded to two children playing minor hockey for the Brighton Bolts each year for the next 3 years.

Travis Gillespie was passionate about sports and enjoyed playing Hockey. He took pride in any team he was part of, had the drive to play his hardest, and do his best while having fun.

Travis loved being part of a community and giving back in any way he could, so we have started a Hockey Scholarship in his honor

This scholarship, will be awarded to two children playing minor hockey for Brighton Bolts. Each year for the next 3 years another player will be selected.(2024-2026)

To submit an application, we ask that the player applying, writes a few paragraphs on why they love the sport and why they feel they should receive this scholarship.

The deadline to submit your application will be August 30, 2024.
