Handmade and homegrown...

In a world that glamorizes synthetic perfection, these clients chose to create a home filled with natural elements and finishes.

The timbers were chosen specifically for their natural curves to form braces and stair stringers. Rammed earth flooring was placed in the south-facing living room to act as a thermal mass (a passive solar technique to regulate the temperature of your home)

The craftsmanship in this home displays a true labour of love, and I'm forever grateful to have been a part of the process.
