Let’s make a healing herb after sun balm!☀️

Find these ingredients at our Sardis location:

1/4 Cup Arnica Flower
1/4 Cup Lavender Flower
1/4 Cup Calendula Flower
5oz Avocado Oil (divided into 4 + 1)
35g Shea Butter
35g Coconut Oil
1/2 Tsp Chamomile Essential Oil

Add all herbs into a clean jar and top with 4oz of the avocado oil. Let infuse for at
least 24 hours, but up to a full moon cycle.
(The longer the more potent!)
Strain your infused oil (some herb fibres will remain, that’s totally fine!) and combine with shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax in a double boiler. Let melt over low heat and add chamomile essential oil.

Pour into jars or tins and let cool at room temperature. Keep lidded in a cool, dark place and apply to sunburned skin as needed. Good for about 12 months.

🌼Calendula Flower: Calendula has properties that can increase blood flow that can help speed up the body’s healing process, reduce inflammation, and has also been proven to reduce symptoms of eczema!

💐Lavender Essential Oil: Lavender is known to be anti-fungal, antibacterial, and antimicrobial. It’s been proven to help aid with wound healing, in particular low-grade burns.

🌸Arnica: Arnica is wonderful for the inflammation that comes with sunburnt skin because of its active component, sesquiterpene lactones. You’ll see it in many applications over the healing spectrum from bruises to sprained ligament.
