What is it about black and white photos that just gives us such a timeless, nostalgic vibe?! So much more dramatic than color.

Dried bouquets can be colorful, too! I’ve been collecting and drying leftover stems, hoping to pull them together one day for something like this! Great keepsake for years.

I love color. I love quirky. I love whimsy. This bouquet has it all!! Shocking pink nerine lilies, local orchids, and roses. And a couple stems of eucalyptus and Italian ruscus. That’s it. Which is weird for me cause I usually throw tons of different textures into my designs but this one didn’t need that. The bold colors were the star.

Nothing boring about this locally sourced bouquet. Local phaleanopsis orchids, local peach Vendela roses, local Jana spray roses, local cymbidium orchids, and dried hydrangea from a friend’s garden (obviously local also). I am always blown away by the stunning, quality flowers that are grown here in BC. And this is just in January!!
