First time out to Port Perry Hospital at Lakeridge Health .health
We spent the day with their ED physician group for a full-day session focused on resuscitation performance. Not just what to do, but how teams actually function under pressure. Decision making, communication, and keeping things moving when it matters most.
New site, new group, same goal. Create a space to practice, make mistakes, and get better together.
This session was supported by the Supplemental Emergency Medicine Experience (SEME) program which continues to back ongoing development for EM physicians across Ontario.
Really appreciated the energy and engagement from the team. Looking forward to being back.
Our 4th of 6 sessions this March.
We were thrilled to return to Milton District Hospital to run two half-day sessions with an incredible group of ED nurses, RTs, and physicians.
These sessions focused on real-time team performance in high-acuity scenarios. Clear roles. Strong communication. Shared mental models. The kind of things that actually change how a resuscitation unfolds.
This work was generously supported by the Supplemental Emergency Medicine Experience (SEME) program which continues to invest in its graduates across Ontario and support ongoing growth beyond training.
Grateful to be part of it.
