CK Pride

The Social Events Committee plans and coordinates social activities throughout the year that foster connection and belonging across Chatham-Kent. Through events and gatherings, the committee creates opportunities for people to come together, build relationships, and celebrate community.

Committee members complete onboarding requirements, participate regularly in meetings and planning, and contribute a positive attitude. Recognizing that strong communities begin with strong teams, members strive to work together in a spirit of encouragement, respect, and mutual support.

A special thank you to Paige for her leadership, enthusiasm, creativity, and inclusive spirit. Her energy and dedication help bring people together and make CK Pride’s social events memorable for all who attend.

Trans Peer Connection Group Meeting will be held on Monday June 22nd from 4-6 at Bills Place. Kind of last minute but wanted to have one before the end of the month. No theme this month, just a group of people who feel like it's the kind of space they feel they would like to occupy together

10 years ago today, 49 lives were taken at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL.

Today we remember them by name. We remember the joy they brought, the people they loved, the dreams they carried, and the impact they continue to have on so many lives.

Their stories did not end that night. They live on through their families, friends, and communities, and through those building a world with more love and less hate.
