Today, as we gather with family and friends, enjoy the celebrations, and perhaps stay up a little too late for fireworks, may we also pause to give thanks.

Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful country we call home. Thank You for the freedoms we enjoy, the blessings we so often take for granted, and the people who help make Canada a place of hope and welcome.

No nation is perfect, and ours is no exception. Yet we pray for Canada today with grateful hearts.

May God grant wisdom to our leaders, peace within our communities, comfort to those who are hurting, and courage to those who serve.

May we reflect Christ’s love in our homes, our neighbourhoods, and across this nation.
