When you’re buying a home on septic, getting an inspection shouldn’t be optional — it’s one of those “just do it” moments.

In this case, my client is the seller — and she’s meticulous. But even the best-maintained systems have a lifespan, and this one was officially clocking out.

So we brought in a local expert, and in under two weeks he designed a brand-new system, tore out the old one, and rebuilt it from scratch.

And I wanted to actually show you what that looks like.

Because during negotiations, “septic replacement” gets tossed around like it’s simply a line on a quote…
But this is what a $30,000 septic replacement really looks like — a full-on excavation, piping, tanks, trenches, the works.

Yeah, it looks rough now.
But come spring?
These guys will be back to level things out, lay topsoil, throw down seed, and this yard will be back to looking like it never skipped a beat.

Real talk: septic systems aren’t scary… but ignoring them is. 😉
