We are currently seeking an Embroidery Assistant who is looking for an exciting, entry level opportunity, to join our team.
Responsibilities
 Accurately pick, process and package orders, according to purchase order instructions.
 Support day-to-day operations of garment processing, including folding, steaming, trimming and repackaging.
 Input design and colour selections in to computer, while applying a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
 Provide outstanding customer service through email, phone and in-person interactions.
 Capability to trouble shoot design issues.
 Provide support on other duties as required, including, but not limited to light cleaning of shop, preparing garment backing supplies for orders, etc.
 Maintains a clean, organized work space and adheres to safe work practices.
 Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

 No experience necessary, will happily train and support candidates with an enthusiastic and dedicated attitude.
 Must have excellent customer service skills.
 Attention to details and accuracy are required for this role.
 Proven ability to keep up with a fast paced environment, with changing daily requirements.
 Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision.

 Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. This role also involves bending and twisting.
 Ability to work overtime, as required.
 Outstanding organizational skills and a positive attitude are a must.

Remuneration and Hours

• This exciting opportunity starts at minimum wage, with the opportunity for merit increases as experience is gained.
• This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with some weekend overtime required during peak periods of the year.
