I may joke about being a seamstress in a past life…I whole heartedly mean it every time 🧵 🪡

March first is a special day in time for many reasons. I especially love this month for the equinox 🌞

This costume was commissioned for a 10 year old boy who was starring in his first school play. Due to our current situation, he no longer gets to hit the stage. Needless to say he’s quite disappointed. The teacher has come up with a plan for all the parents to record their children signing the main song and to send them in and await a collaboration 💫✨ The show must go on! What a great way to connect! I honestly loved this project, it challenged my drafting skills for a smaller human and I had some creative fun with the details 🥰

I’ve been getting in a lot of creative time with this new addition to our home. With a few projects on the go, (teaching a few yoga workshops and a couple new sewing clients) investing time in myself this way is what fills me up! It keeps me grounded. Although difficult, it’s a practice...just like everything else.
