Happy Birthday to Jill.
Proof that you can be deeply compassionate and still call people on their bu****it.
A rare combination of wisdom, wit, curiosity, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting.
We’re grateful for the laughs, the insights, the courage, and the countless humans you’ve helped remember who they are.
Now go do something fun and try not to adult too hard for at least 24 hours.
Happy Birthday. 🎂

“Evolve” was the theme of Wednesday’s Women in Business Conference hosted by the and modern workplaces really said:
“Please adapt to rapid change, AI disruption, budget pressure, emotional labour, five new platforms, and Cheryl’s ‘just circling back 🙂’ email by end of day.”
Meanwhile humans are out here running on caffeine, cortisol, blind optimism, and a nervous system held together by colour coded calendars and pretending we’re “good busy.”
That gap is why we started Hii.
Because evolution requires human capacity.
And some of y’all are one Teams notification away from becoming a woodland creature.
Also, huge appreciation to the women in that room Wednesday. Smart, driven, supportive, polished, hilarious, and somehow still showing up with warmth while carrying responsibilities that would make lesser people fake their own disappearance.

My favourite genre of meeting is “we’re aligned” but nobody can explain on what
Hii 👋 we see you 👀

There’s a version of leadership pressure almost no one talks about.
It shows up when you’re the person who has to start the decision, clarify the decision, and then make sure the decision actually lands. You connect the dots between teams, translate strategy into something usable, and close loops most people don’t even realize were open. Not because you’re trying to control everything, but because if you don’t do it, things slow down.
That works for a while. Then leadership quietly turns into doing the job twice. Once to move the work forward, and once to make sure it sticks.
We spend a lot of time working with leaders in exactly this spot. The work isn’t about adding another framework or asking you to push harder. It’s about strengthening how decisions move through the leadership team so progress stops depending on one person carrying the whole thing across the line.
If this sounds familiar, it’s usually a signal worth paying attention to.

A lot of People & Culture leaders are doing invisible structural work right now.
You’re translating strategy.
Stabilizing leaders.
Cleaning up misalignment.
Holding morale together between meetings.
And everyone thinks this is “just part of the role.”
Sometimes it is.
Sometimes it’s a signal leadership capacity upstream needs strengthening.
The Elevated Workplace gives leadership teams practical structure so fewer issues land on HR’s desk in the first place.
If you’ve been thinking:
“this isn’t a policy problem”
you’re probably right.
Come talk to us.

A lot of organizations are tracking whether AI is replacing jobs.
Far fewer are tracking whether it’s replacing thinking inside the jobs that remain.
It’s a bit like installing power steering across the organization and then being surprised no one remembers how to handle the vehicle when the road gets rough.
Automation works best when human judgment stays strong.
Because human capacity is part of the infrastructure that keeps AI working safely.
This may become one of the defining leadership questions of the next few years:
How do we increase output with AI while still strengthening the human intelligence required to oversee it?
That’s the work behind The Elevated Workplace.
We strengthen the clarity, decision-making, and relational intelligence leaders rely on when pressure goes up and technology speeds everything else up.
If you’re curious what this looks like inside your organization, we built a short guided entry point to explore it:

AI creates efficiency. We know this. It can process data, automate tasks, generate content, and predict outcomes faster than any human ever could.
Cool.
Buuuttttt it can't discern. It can't lead with integrity. It can't build trust. It can't make decisions rooted in values when the stakes are high and the path forward is unclear.
Discernment-->the ability to perceive, understand, and judge things clearly, especially when distinguishing between similar or obscure matters—is a fundamentally human capacity. It requires context, emotional intelligence, lived experience, and the ability to hold complexity without fragmenting.

This work only exists because we kept noticing the same thing from two different angles.
One of us from inside leadership systems.
One of us from inside human performance.
Turns out the gap between them is where most organizations get stuck.
That gap is what became The Elevated Workplace.
