"JEANS OR NOT"?
Due to the controversy surrounding this point, I'd like to state that this is my opinion.
Do not show up for an interview dressed in 'JEANS'.
In conversation with people about this, some say it is culturally acceptable in some countries, others say it depends on the industry.
A few people have the opinion that it is safe to dress in Jeans to attend an interview if it's a position that doesn't require much skill e.g. Cleaning, housekeeping, labor work, handyman, one time contract for an event, unskilled basically...the list goes on.
However, where do you draw the line?
No matter how expensive your jeans is, what color it is, slightly or not ripped, I advise not to show up in it for an interview.
Some people might have gotten away with it, you may not.
You do not know what orientation your interviewer(s) has/have.
Play safe and dress appropriately. There are hundred other things you can wear.
Call me old school 🤦♀️🤷♂️.
Agree/disagree?
I'd like to hear or read your opinion, experiences and contributions on this issue, leave a message or send an email [email protected].

Job seeking?
I always advise that you keep yourself updated with current trends. E.g. interview questions/style.
If you have been at a job for a long time and look forward to moving on to other roles or positions (within or outside your Organization); New in an industry or location, go for an "INTERVIEW TEST".
It might be easier for someone attending interviews regularly to flaw one with much experience but not a way to convey his experiences which could be wrapped in an interview question.
This can be done by reading, watching videos, downloading possible interview questions and getting a friend or colleague to get you interviewed.
Basically getting yourself in the interviewee seat in preparation.
This is for those job seeking.
You can be called anytime for a quick telephone interview or face to face- higher possibility of this is if you are applying/looking within your Organization.

This is one topic that has come up a lot of times.
This is especially for applicants/ potential employees at the start of their career, those still trying out what will work for them/ what career path to follow or for those who want to change career path.
-There is absolutely nothing wrong with having multiple resumes (as long as they are properly written and objectives are clearly stated).
Some do this to align with the job descriptions of positions they are applying for.
-Save correctly and don't mismatch when the time to present it arrives.
Emphasis on not presenting the wrong resume especially for online applications as this depicts inattention to details. {having stated attention to details as a skill in the resume:-) }
-Take your time with preparing each one if you belong to this class. Read job descriptions properly before and after adjustments have been made.
- if you have done part of the job descriptions with different past employers, present your experience first.
Please feel free to share, join in the conversation, share your experiences/opinions.
