Well… guess who’s back? Winter is.

Not complaining though. We definitely got spoiled for a few weeks there, and I’ll take that little teaser of spring while we can get it. It was good while it lasted.

Love is in the air.

Sessions like this feel effortless. When the connection is real, I don’t have to overthink anything. I give a bit of direction and then let them just be. The laughs just happen. The quiet in-between moments happen, too. I’m mostly just there to catch what’s already there. When two people are this into each other, you can feel it in every frame.

If you’ve been meaning to book something with your person, take this as your sign. It doesn’t have to be big or dramatic. It just has to feel like you.

This weather feels unreal right now. No complaints here, just quietly enjoying it because we all know Calgary likes to switch things up fast.

Throwing it back to a recent winter day when snow was still everywhere and we were bundling up for sessions. Even then, families showed up, kids ran around, and moments still happened. 😀

Aside from beautiful snowy photos, you also get lots of hugs during your winter session. No prompts needed, hugging is pretty much encouraged. It’s the easiest way to stay cozy and warm, and it makes the session feel genuine and real.
