With the emergency situation in Kannaskis, the original venue was not accessible due to road closures. This was a lovely spot that they were able to find as an alternative! I’m so happy it all worked out for the couple!

In 1998, I was a dreamy teenager listening to many pop, love songs. One day I saw this music book at the bookstore. At the time, I didn’t know how how to read pop chords or leadsheets as my piano teacher only taught me classical music… but I bought it anyway!

And so, I taught myself how to play pop songs, arranging it on the fly, by trial and error, trusting my ear.

It is still what I love to do at the keys; improvising, exploring ways to play it differently and just simply following my heart when I let the music in me flow 💕
