📢 Super Visa Update – March 2026

Canada just made it easier to qualify for the Super Visa 👇

✅ Two major changes:

1️⃣ Longer income check period
You can now meet the income requirement using either of the last 2 tax years
👉 Before: only the most recent year counted

2️⃣ Parents’ income can help
Part of the visiting parent or grandparent’s income can now be included
👉 This can help cover any shortfall

⚠️ Note: The government has not yet confirmed how much of the income must come from the host.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This means more families may now qualify.

Express Entry Update 🇨🇦 — Lowest CRS in 18 Months

March 17, 2026 — Canada invited 4,000 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) with a CRS cut-off of 507, the lowest score seen in the past 18 months.

This confirms a clear trend in 2026: Canada is prioritizing candidates already working in Canada and lowering score thresholds in targeted draws.
