What a wonderful evening celebrating another year of serving our community and recognizing the incredible dedication of our volunteer caseworkers and advising lawyers.

We were also honoured to celebrate Susan V.R. Billington, KC and her many years of contributions to SLA as she begins her well-deserved retirement later this year. Thank you, Susan, for everything you’ve given to our organization and community.

What an unforgettable evening! Last week, we had the rare privilege of meeting the Honourable Justice Mahmud Jamal of the Supreme Court of Canada at the LASA dinner in his honour 📸 It’s evenings like this that remind us of the impact we hope to make in the legal community.
