Ever wonder why it takes time to bring great coffee to the North? ☕❄️

It all starts in Ethiopia, where the beans are carefully hand-picked, washed, and professionally graded for quality. From there, they’re packed into 60kg bags and shipped across the world in containers. After customs clearance, the coffee is transported by rail and delivered to our warehouse.

This incoming batch arrives as green bean coffee, meaning nothing is pre-roasted. We roast it fresh, exactly how coffee should be — then package it as either whole bean or freshly ground, seal it, and have it ready for the The Grub Box within 3 days.

That means the coffee in your cup was literally roasted fresh — not sitting on a shelf for months. ☕🔥
