A few favourites of Alison and Vintage from Sunday’s ride at Tilted Tiara.

One of the best parts of this sport is getting to watch riders and partnerships evolve over time, and I’ve been lucky enough to follow Alison’s career for over half a decade. The growth I’ve seen in Alison’s riding, especially over the past year, has been incredible. Every ride seems more confident, more polished, and more connected than the last.

When she asked if I could grab some photos instead of video this weekend, I was delighted to be able to. Thank you to the official photographer, Jessie, for kindly making that possible.

It’s a privilege to document these moments and cheer on people whose journey I’ve had the chance to watch unfold. ❤️

Still one of the coolest experiences I’ve had behind the lens — being the official photographer at a clinic with the one and only Christoph Hess.

It was a few years ago now, but I still think about it often. Christoph is not only a world-renowned dressage coach and international judge, but also one of the most passionate and insightful teachers I’ve ever had the chance to watch. I was soaking up knowledge in between snapping photos and left totally inspired (and maybe a little starstruck).

Grateful for the chance to witness such incredible horsemanship up close — and even more grateful I got to capture it all.
