True or False.

You need to change the water in your hot tub every month?

FALSE!

That’s right! One of the most common misconceptions about spas is that they’re time consuming to take care of and require a TON of work.

In reality, when it comes to water changes, they only need to be done once every season.

Four times a year isn’t bad at all if we say so ourselves!

Sanitizer is a hot topic in the hot tub industry, and with so many options, it’s easy to see why.

Two of the most common are chlorine and bromine.

So…which one is better?

Ultimately, they are both extremely effective options, keeping your water crystal clear and safe to soak in. But... they do have some notable differences!

Bromine is gentler on the skin and is longer lasting. Unfortunately, it breaks down faster in the sun and has a higher price tag.

Chlorine, on the other hand, kills bacteria quickly but is used up much faster. It's also one of the most affordable sanitizers on the market.

Which one you use will depend on your maintenance needs and overall budget.
