Dearest Valued Customers and Friends,
As the leaves turn golden and the air fills with the warmth of the season, we at Saigon Maxim, your beloved Vietnamese family-owned restaurant, pause to reflect on the profound blessings that have graced our journey. This Thanksgiving, we find ourselves overflowing with thankfulness and gratitude—not just for the bountiful harvest of flavors we've shared through our phở, bánh mì, and spring rolls, but for the incredible milestone we've reached together as a community. Celebrating another year of serving you/surpassing more than a decade in business, this holiday feels especially poignant, blending the rich traditions of our Vietnamese heritage with the spirit of Thanksgiving. It's a beautiful reminder of how far we've come, from our humble beginnings rooted in family recipes passed down through generations, to becoming a cherished gathering place where stories are shared over steaming bowls of noodle soup and laughter echoes amid the aroma of lemongrass and fresh herbs.
We are deeply grateful for each of you—our loyal patrons who have become like extended family. Your smiles, your kind words, and your unwavering support have sustained us through challenges and joys alike. In a world that moves so quickly, you've chosen to slow down with us, savoring not just our authentic Vietnamese cuisine but the warmth of human connection. As immigrants who built this dream from scratch, we are thankful for the opportunities this land has provided, allowing us to share a piece of our culture while embracing the traditions of our adopted home. This milestone Thanksgiving marks a chapter of resilience, growth, and unity, and we couldn't have written it without you.
In honor of this special time, we will be closing our doors on Thanksgiving Day, October 13, to allow our dedicated team—our own family—to gather with their loved ones, reflect on our shared blessings, and recharge for the holidays ahead. We encourage you to do the same: surround yourselves with family and friends, create new memories, and indulge in the simple joys that make life so rich.
From our family to yours, we wish you a Thanksgiving filled with happiness, laughter, and an abundance of love. May your tables be laden with delicious food, your hearts with gratitude, and your homes with the warmth of togetherness. Thank you for being part of our story—we look forward to welcoming you back soon with open arms and even more flavorful delights.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Saigon Maxim Family

The people of Calgary have made a lasting impact on cultures and societies for centuries, driving positive change and fostering a legacy of faith and optimism. This heritage has profoundly influenced our family and countless others across generations.
Throughout the Christmas season, we're heartened by the rekindling of familial bonds as loved ones share in the joy, hope, and optimism that define this special time of year. At its core, Christmas is a celebration of heartfelt optimism, inspiring hope and positivity.
Our family's Christmas traditions, including sharing Vietnamese cuisine and participating in customary festivities, evoke a sense of gratitude and continuity. These time-honored customs, passed down through generations, serve as a testament to the enduring spirit of Christmas.
In observance of the holiday, our establishment will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will resume our regular operating hours on December 26th and look forward to welcoming you back then.
