Yesterday's drive was packed with raptor sightings including this striking dark-morph Rough-legged Hawk scanning the prairie.

My first and only encounter with a Tufted Titmouse. Similar to chickadees really and just as cute! The birds I found this day were rather shy and uncooperative as they moved about the forest so was relieved to get this one acceptable photo to share and memorialize my day!
