It was a welcoming and productive experience for Directions for Immigrants to once again attend this year’s Youth Employment Summit (YES!) for Newcomers, hosted by Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, CCIS at Platform Calgary.

The event brought together a vibrant community of newcomer youth and adults' immigrants, connecting them with service providers, employers, and community partners. Participants had the opportunity to gain valuable tips, access support, and explore meaningful employment opportunities.

The guest speakers and discussion panelists offered incredible valuable insights! It was a truly remarkable experience!
