Today is National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day & we are reminding Calgary drivers that impaired driving is never acceptable.

ℹ️ So far this year in Calgary:
👉 Impairment was a factor in 5 out of 35 fatal collisions
👉 109 criminal code charges have been laid for impaired driving or refusal to provide a sample
👉 Officers have issued 2,170 immediate roadside sanctions

🤝 We all have a part to play in education. Choosing to drive sober, or helping someone else make that choice, can mean the difference between someone coming home safely or not at all.
