By all accounts I am lucky. I have a healthy, happy family. Two kids, two dogs and am married to my best friend.
But friends, I cringe when people align my success in business to “luck.” Whether it’s in the boardroom or working on one of our properties, I assure you, the moves I have taken in those successes have been strategic and born out of mostly grit and determination.
This is my Saturday ... I’m not complaining. Heck no. I’m working on my dream house right now. But please remember when y’all are out enjoying the first real weekend of nice whether I’m over here pulling up each floor board one by one and getting lucky...
