For the past 25 years Calgary Musicians Association and JazzYYC have awarded the Richard Cowie Memorial Scholarship to a local musician to further their jazz studies. 2026's well-deserving receipient was David Lavoie. Please enjoy this trip down memory lane of 25 years of Calgary jazz history.
