Healthy af hamburger soup on yet another cold, blustery day in Calgary. These were all the ingredients plus I added some salt and pepper to taste. Started by cooking up the ground beef, added a whole bulb of garlic and white onion, sautéed for a bit, added carrot, celery and the spices. Then added green pepper, bone broth and stewed tomatoes. Let it simmer for about an hour. Great for your gut and will ward off vampires 😉

Here’s a recipe idea: BBQ’d Salmon
I grilled salmon 6 minutes per side with a bit of olive oil, about a 4 ounce portion. While that was happening I sautéed kale, tomatoes, zucchini and red bell pepper. Added chimichuri seasoning and topped with a bit of feta. Delicious and filling with the fat from the salmon.
