It was a joy to see the enthusiasm of the organizers for the event "Stress to Strength" and happy faces of the family of Professor Dr. Balwinder Kaur.
Two factors drew my attention to this event. Firstly, the guest speaker, Dr. Balwinder Kaur ji who was being honoured (lovingly called Aunty ji) and secondly, the organizers, Sikandar Singh, whom I have observed to be actively promoting book reading, and Sunny Swatch, who has been engaged in value-added work. I believed they had organized something good. They had collaborated with Lovepreet of Love Talks.
The format involved posing questions to the guest speaker and learning from her wisdom.
Events of this nature foster education and wisdom sharing. Congratulations to the organizers and sponsors for the event's success.

It is with deep sorrow that I confirm that OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali was killed in the line of duty this afternoon in Hearst. His courage and commitment to serving others will never be forgotten. As we grieve this immeasurable loss, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, colleagues and the policing community.

Being part of the conversations is important when you get to hear; meet people whom you know and new faces. I also met someone who drove all the way from Canmore. Also had some interesting conversations with those on my table. Yesterday at the Pro Canada speech by leader Pierre Poilievre.

Rain and shine witnessing both, at the vibrant annual Lilac Festival on the weekend. No better way to get out in our rooted traditions and getting to know about diversity of talents of creativity by more than 500 vendors, performers, organizations and the truck vendors.

Thank you to our leader Pierre Poilievre for continuing to staying strong to fight for restoring the promise for the hardworking Canadians who are looking for affordability, lower taxes, safety, housing and hoping for the Canada we want.

Another fascinating evening with SIFARISH networking. An evening that inspired to be stepping out of comfort zones and doing big, an openness to ideas and taking action to break boundaries for good. Founders of The SIFARISH networking Rajiv Malhotra and Sunny Kakar have expanded the networking in a very short span of time because of the value it provides. A networking group with a professional tone.

Members bring unique contributions that can be nostalgic, hilarious, educational . Some members and executive have experienced our changing Calgary for more than 60 years and made contributions. They work hard for this association very thoughtfully. May month was eventful. Thanks to the executive.
