Zadie Xa with Benito Mayor Vallejo: "Moonlit Confessions Across Deep Sea Echoes: Your Ancestors Are Whales, and Earth Remembers Everything" presents a vivid immersive, large-scale installation integrating painting, textiles, sculpture, light, and sound to explore themes of diasporic identity, mythology, and marine ecology.

The exhibition highlights the visionary practice for which Xa was named a 2025 Turner Prize nominee and is organized and developed in partnership with The Power Plant, Toronto, and PHI, Montréal.
