The UBC Pipeline Integrity Institute is excited to present the short course "Understanding Canadian Pipeline Systems" in January 2025! Registration is now open for this online course, consisting of three lunch-hour modules (11:00 AM–1:00 PM PST) on January 14, 21, and 28, 2025.
Course Details:
Format: Online only
Cost: $325 CAD per module or $900 CAD for all three modules (YEIP members: $850 CAD for three modules)
Modules:
1️⃣ Pipelines & Regulations (Jan 14): An introduction to Canadian pipeline infrastructure and its role in the economy and energy grid.
2️⃣ Technical Requirements for Canadian Pipelines (Jan 21): Overview of engineering controls, management systems, and essential programs like integrity and emergency management.
3️⃣ Navigating the Regulatory Framework (Jan 28): Insights into safety, environmental regulations, Indigenous consultation requirements, and regulatory engagement.
