A story known for generations, re‑imagined for the present.
Snow White closes Alberta Ballet’s 2026/27 Season with a world premiere by Artistic Director Francesco Ventriglia. Rooted in classical ballet while informed by a contemporary sensibility, the production revisits a familiar story through refined movement and striking visual design.
The ballet blends classical vocabulary with modern theatrical elements, allowing the narrative to unfold with clarity and intention. Recognizable in form yet freshly realized, Snow White reflects an approach that honors tradition while engaging with the present.
A confident and visually compelling conclusion to Alberta Ballet’s Diamond Year.
