Solar YYC

Introducing the Solar YYC Client Portal: a new online hub that brings your solar system information together in one convenient place.

Designed for Solar YYC clients, the portal makes it easier to understand how your system is performing, find what you need and explore ways to get more from your solar investment, all in one place.

In our Client Portal, you can:
⚡ View your solar production and performance history
⚡ Access your system details and important documents
⚡ Explore available system add-ons and solar programs
⚡ Find helpful solar resources

Stay tuned as we plan to make this service accessible for non-solar yyc installs, and launch premium services through the portal.

We’re excited to share that Sol Power Projects is now part of Solar YYC!

Over the past 10 years, Solar YYC has grown alongside Calgary and Southern Alberta, and commercial solar has become a significant part of our core business. Bringing Sol Power Projects into Solar YYC is another important step in continuing that growth and strengthening our commercial division.

Sol Power Projects brings additional commercial solar experience, relationships, and expertise to our team, allowing us to continue expanding the scale and scope of the projects we can support across Alberta.

We’re also excited that Tod Petersen will continue working with the team as part of Solar YYC, bringing his experience and knowledge of the commercial solar industry into this next chapter.

For our clients and partners, this means greater commercial capacity while maintaining the same focus Solar YYC has built its reputation on over the last decade: quality work, strong relationships, and an experienced local team.
We’re proud of how far our commercial division has come, and we’re excited about what this next stage of growth will bring.

Tired of the volatile Alberta energy market? This business owner took action. We maximized their south-facing roof with 89 panels to build a 55.18 kW DC system that will churn out clean electricity for the next 30+ years.
The best part? It will replace 50% of the grid energy they used to buy!

With power prices constantly on the rise, this system pays for itself in a fraction of its lifespan while completely insulating the business from inflation and unpredictable utility rates.
