Sherlock update! We are so happy to tell you that Sherlock will be staying with his foster family as he has settled in and is happy. Thank you everyone for your interest!

Sadly, his owner died last year and a friend is currently caring for him. An active 15-pound Jack Russell Terrier/Papillion mix who still likes to go on walks and to sniff out mysteries, he is curious about everything. Sherlock lives with two small dogs now and likes one a lot and tolerates the other. Despite this companionship, he suffers from separation anxiety when his human is travelling and does not enjoy going to a dogsitter on those occasions. Sherlock is looking for a quiet stable home with lots of attention. When he is first in a new place he does have a tendency to p*e, but he will make a great senior companion.
