Hi, I’m Bunny, a very special girl! My foster mom calls me Funny Bunny because I like to dip my head in the sink and drink out of it. I have a lovely brown coat with tabby markings and beautiful green eyes! Everyone thinks I’m very pretty (and I know it.)

I do like my alone time and a house that is quiet with no other pets or kids – I get nervous around them and won’t hesitate to let them know I don’t want to play. I could use a very patient home to help me get more confident with people.

My foster mom noticed that I also get anxious around men and I will usually keep my distance from them. Maybe I just need more time to get used to them because my current house is all girls right now so I’m their princess!

Lastly, I have a skin condition that I need to take daily medicine to control. I take my medicine like a champ every day, even though it’s not very tasty, and then my foster mom gives me my dinner. I’m allergic to regular cat food so I have a special yummy diet that she gives me every day. I don’t even mind that I’m not allowed treats!

Still coming out of her shy kitty shell, Smokey loves to get affection, then play. She loves playing with wand toys and jingling ball toys, and especially enjoys cardboard scratchers. She truly likes licking her foster mom, being brushed for short stints and playfully biting the comb. Her luxurious coat must be brushed daily or every other day and she’s used to two types of litter boxes. Now all Smokey needs to shine sweetly and brightly fur-ever is a patient and loving adoptive home.
