Canadians are going deeper in debt. Canadians are dealing with the cost of living and higher debt payments by exhausting their savings, skipping on other necessities, and refinancing. This is not sustainable, and ends in insolvency without higher paying jobs in a more productive economy.

Condo starts have dropped to zero in the GTA – and housing starts have “fallen off a cliff” across Ontario, at a time when housing is completely out of reach for working Canadians and the problem is spreading across Canada.

Wages are not keeping up.

Only higher wages and productivity will fix the affordability crisis.

For 10 years the Liberal government chased private investment away from energy projects (including TransMountain which had to be nationalized), preventing Canada from getting oil and gas to market and leaving us without the infrastructure to supply the world during this energy supply crisis.
