Congrats Bison on the Meadowbrook Carbon Storage Hub opening ceremonies!

Meadowbrook is not just another CCS concept — it is Alberta’s first CCS hub to enter service, with a 500 ktpa Phase 1 license and a pathway to at least 3 Mtpa.

The project creates a FOAK commercial chain in Canada: DAC-origin CO₂, third-party paid injection, Japanese equity participation, and permanent storage in Alberta.

At full buildout, Meadowbrook represents a potential 75 MtCO₂ storage platform over 25 years — a true hub-scale carbon management asset.

The pilot design bridges FOAK DAC volumes with scalable hub infrastructure: 200 tpd by truck today, 500 ktpa licensed Phase 1 capacity, and 3 Mtpa long-term hub potential.

Scovan’s role sits right at the commercialization edge: FEED, HAZOP, long-lead equipment planning, IFC drawings, CWPs, and modular fabrication strategy for a first-of-kind CO₂ injection facility.
