This is the first year we're offering the Ótáp ímisskaan Indigenous Youth Summer Camp, and we'd love to welcome more Indigenous youth ages 15–-8 for a week of leadership, culture, and connection at the University of Calgary!

📅 July 20–24
🕣 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. daily
📍 University of Calgary
Our FREE summer camp is open to Indigenous youth ages 15-18. Participants will enjoy:
• Leadership training (Levels 1, 2 & 3, Personal, Team & Community Leadership)
• Hands-on workshops with Elders and community members
• Cultural learning and activities
• Campus life experiences
• Daily lunch and snacks provided
• A chance to meet new friends and build lasting connections

Join Lisa L’Hirondelle, Indigenous Therapist, and Hanna Woodward, Indigenous Student Support Advisor, in a KAIROS Blanket Exercise for National Indigenous History Month.
The KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE) is an experiential exercise that explores the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the land we now know as Canada.
This event is open to all UCalgary students, staff, and faculty!

Call for volunteers for the UCalgary 2026 Indigenous Graduation Celebration
Join us on Monday, June 15 to support Indigenous Grad, a meaningful celebration of Indigenous student success, community, and achievement. Come be part of a beautiful event honouring Indigenous graduates and their journeys.
A variety of volunteer roles are available, with morning, afternoon, or full‑day shifts. Lunch will be provided, and the venue is easily accessible by train, bus, taxi, or car. Parking passes will be provided.
