Found on a thread where folks are explaining what some of the mystery symbols on your vehicles’ dashboard are.
Now, I doubt they are bringing Skera, the boat that Regin and Steinar built, but the Ulfraendi WILL be in Markerville on June 13th to take part in our Icelandic Independence Day Celebrations!

River Walk reel - the afternoon in 40 seconds (June 4, 2026 with Signy Holm and Rakel Holm)

📣 REMINDER: Join us tomorrow, June 4, for an INTERACTIVE RIVER WALK with artists-in-residence Signy and Rakel!

📍 Meet at the Buttermaker’s House
🕐 1:00 PM

We caught up with Signy and Rakel this evening. Despite the rainy weather, they’ve been busy exploring the shores of the Medicine River and Tindastoll Creek—walking, mapping, collecting, and documenting objects in preparation for tomorrow’s River Walk experience.

Their advice? Dress for the weather! Waterproof footwear is recommended, though not essential. We’ll be staying on established trails, but anyone feeling adventurous is welcome to explore some of the wetter areas in search of interesting artefacts and discoveries.

We hope you’ll join us for this unique opportunity to experience the landscape through the artists’ eyes.
