The poem, In Flanders Fields, was written by Captain John McCrae during the 2nd battle of Ypres. His words capture the tragedy of war and hope that the fallen soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice not be forgotten by future generations.

Today we remember, honour and thank the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
